Who We Are
Ian Mair - Founding Partner
Ian began his innovation journey while studying for a PhD in molecular neurobiology in the mid 1990s. Never content to simply accept the established ways of working in the lab, Ian worked with colleagues to design a computerised perfusion system for his experiments that vastly improved accuracy and speed of experimentation. Life has an amazing way of opening up new avenues for growth and Ian has spent the last 3 decades applying his relentless pursuit of improved ways of working to a wide variety of industries including pharmaceutical, retail (Tesco) and property (Grosvenor). A qualified accountant, Ian has served as a CFO, COO, MD, innovation expert, executive coach and non-executive director across a diverse group of industries from property and retail tech startups to the higher education sector.
Craig O’Donnell - Founding Partner
Craig was initially a geographer by training, which in itself makes him ideally suited to being your guide! He has spent a large part of his career in IT, first with Baring Asset Management and then a long and successful period at Land Securities, one of the UK’s largest commercial property companies. Craig has worked across all levels of the technology function culminating in his role as Chief Information Officer at Land Securities. He has lead large and complex change programmes including the infrastructure lead for the demerger of the Trillium business to form Land Securities as well as the £40m office move of the business. Designing and landing a programme of innovation at Land Securities, Craig then moved on to Grosvenor where he joined forces with Ian to design and deliver a Group wide innovation programme and culture that endures today. He brings his deep expertise to bear in non-executive roles in the affordable housing sector as well as being a much sought after coach.
